Yemen Student Aid Conference (YSAC)

The United Nations has declared the Yemeni Civil War one of the biggest humanitarian emergencies. 4600 civilians have been killed, 19 million people are completely dependent on humanitarian aid, and 500K people have contracted cholera due to lack of clean water. How can we limit U.S. aid to the war?

About the event

Whoever supports Yemen’s Saudi-led coalition with weapons should also support the innocent Yemeni families, who are harmed by this exchange and suffering from this war. We believe that a country who spends billions on supporting the Yemeni war with weapons needs to spend at least millions on food for vulnerable families that are now malnourished due to the severe famine. The United Nations (UN) has declared Yemen one of the biggest humanitarian emergencies, and the people need help. Please do your part and join our discussion on how we can advocate for peace in Yemen and prevent United States aid to the Saudi-led coalition, which has targeted and killed several innocent civillians.

  • 4,600 civilians have been killed
  • 3,600 schools have been closed
  • 18.8 million people are completely dependent on humanitarian aid
  • 500,000 people have contracted cholera because of the lack of clean water.

This is why we need to start this discussion in our community and galvanize support to ending this civil war and its detrimnetal effects on the vulnerable Yemeni population!
